Update on Wee Leah

The headaches are due to a wisdom tooth coming in at an odd angle. For now they will do nothing. Leah isn't strong enough for another surgery.
She is still having a difficult time with stuttering, and the more frustrated she gets, the worse it is.
Her left arm and hand are showing a slight improvement, walking is much better and she is using the cane.
Everything is good. Each day small improvements.

I am moving into the apartment above Leah with my daughter Ruthie who will soon be three.
Uri will remain as Leah's "room mate" and Mish will also be moving to our "hood" in the next few weeks.
The closer we are, the more help we can be, while still having our own space.

Thanks for the post Marc! I am so happy that Leah is improving each day. Leah, please try not to get so frustrated, I know it's hard but YOU CAN DO THIS!! Roxi and I are still praying and will for a good long while. You keep doing the best you possibly can and we will keep praying. I always tell people when I say I am going to pray for them "Why? Because you need the prayer and I need the practice!". LOL. Keep up the good work!

Hi Leah,

I feel for you--My wisdom teeth came in sideways, actually! I had to have them out three years ago (I'm 24 now)and it wasn't so bad, in fact, I've got a lot more room in there now and no more swollen, painful gums! Feel better soon and take care of yourself! It'll be over before you know it. =) I'm praying for you

Hang in there, this too shall pass, although nowhere soon enough! Chin up, even if you must keep an ice pack on it for days to come...
I will be praying for you, may G_d give you comfort.

Marc,

I will add this new development to my prayer list for Leah. May she feel God's comforting hand as strengthens enough to have her wisdom teeth removed.

I will also add you and Uri and Mish and your families to my prayer list for continued strength and compassion through God's grace as you put aside your lives to care for Leah.

God's Blessing and Peace to Leah, her friends, family and caregivers.

Dear Leah:
I can't really sympathize with your wisdom-teeth predicament: I had to have several teeth pulled in early adolescence so that I could get braces. Heck of a way to spend two afternoons.
Still, more pain is the last thing you need now, so here's hoping it's bearable until it passes.
Please go easy on yourself when you stutter. This, too, will pass.
Best wishes to you and yours.
